Hydrolats are valuable therapeutic products in their own right, they contain some of the water soluble properties of the plant. They do not need to be diluted and can be applied to the skin to treat a variety of disorders.

They may be added to your bath, shampoos & moisturisers.

Excellent tonic and skin toner, ideal for mature skin (claimed to have rejuvenating qualities). Also helpful for blemished and scarred skin.

Frankincense is traditionally burnt as an aid for meditation - creates 'spiritual' atmosphere just mist around the room.

All 100 ml Hydrolats are in blue bottles with atomisers.

We recommend misting your face with this hydrolat before applying our moisturising cream. Use to refresh your face.

A member of the Burseraceae family, it is a shrubby tree native to the red sea region, but growing wild throughout north east Africa. The tears are the resinous gum which is collected by making incisions into the bark.

Everyone has to understand that, although they are distilled and free of bacteria and molds at the onset, they are waters.

If you open a bottle of water what will it do? Just by breathing on it or a floating speck of dust entering it mold can start growing.

Say someone coughs, sneezes, particle of dust or dirt floats in when open, it's now contaminated. We have no control of this.

All our products are of equal quality. We purchase the best we can find.

Only issue we ever had with hydrolat is occasional leaking. This can happen if plane pressure at high altitudes. It is rare but can happen. Usually only a few ml could seep out.

They last longer in fridge.

All in all we are overly cautious with hydrolats because they are water.

Rose water last the longest because of it's natural ethanol content, which has a preservative effect. Chamomile, Melissa and Yarrow waters have been known to go off quicker.

The only way around this is to put a low open cap PAO or add a preservative.

So would you like us to add preservatives? What preservatives would you like us to add?

We don't add preservatives, so these will be needed to increase shelf life: food grade sources: 0.1% Citric Acid (oxidation inhibitor), 0.1% Potassium Sorbate (mold inhibitor). 0.1% Sodium Benzoate (bacteria inhibitor).

Please note our products are natural and are filtered, but there is sometimes plant material in the final product.
