KOBASHI MASSOIA BARK OIL 100% Pure

LATIN NAME: Massoia aromatica Becc. (synonym Cryptocarya massoy Oken, Lauraceae) Cryprocarya massoia (Massoia aromatica Becc, Lauraceae)
SOURCE: Steamed distilled from bark
COLOUR: Amber
ORIGIN: wild grown from Papua New Guinea
AROMA: very strong sweet peachy coconut like, creamy, milky, woods and mosses.

QUALITIES:

We had two choices of quality from our Indonesian supplier. We chose the higher quality aroma Lactone % that cost us $100 more per kg than the lower lactone Massoia. We are selling the best at prices lower than most and they may be selling the cheaper one.

We really like the aroma of this oil and it's warming, energizing and centring effect. May improve circulation when used correctly.

The closest aroma we have to that of the yellow Gorse bush flower, found on the moors, is Massoia bark oil, but you only can use 1 drop in 100ml coconut oil. Be careful not to get neat Massoia bark oil on skin and wash thoroughly if you do.

Blends well with carrot, cedarwood, chamomiles, coriander, ho leaf, sandalwood, ylangs, vanilla and the exotics jasmine, neroli and rose.

When blending observe total content ratios.

DILUTION: DILUTE IT:

Only a small amount is needed. Used in expensive floral perfumes @ <0.01% (1drop in 100ml) as a fixative and base note, its aroma creates a tropical bouquet. Also used in food at <50ppm (We do not sell for ingestion).

After Lynda had seen what happened to Scott, she applied daily, Massoia aromatica on her face, arms, chest and legs at 2 drops in 100mls. No problem, no negative reactions after 5 days. Unlike Scott, Lynda has been taking the more pragmatic approach to self testing oils for over 31 years. Less at first and slightly more later.

Scott won't be putting Massoia aromatica on at 100% again. Everything has it's effect in ratio. Less is always more as a base guide. Lynda has been using Massoia oil 2 drops in 100mls for 3 months everyday with no ill effects. So we suggest 1 drop in 100mls.

Scott has been experimenting with neat essential oils on himself for 23 years. He does this to see the worse case scenario before selling. Massoia bark oil gave him the largest reaction of all the oils he has tested. In high ratios it may cause a variable immune boosting response. Too much response is not balancing. We must always go for balance.

Scott Ballard believes it is a good aroma to wean oneself off of dairy or alcohol products. If craving addictive products just smell Massoia bark oil and see if it works for you. Scott does not eat dairy products and has not drunk alcohol since smelling and applying Massoia aromatica. ( Revised: From Feb 19th to 18th April 17th 2018 he drank two glasses of vegan Prosecco on Easter April 1st and two glasses on April 14th 2018. Very in control without trying. For optimum health one should never saturate the liver or don't drink alcohol at all. Everyone's liver is different and if you feel tired you most likely drank too much, if alcohol related. Exercise every day and only eat A great variety of plants.

He has also applied Massoia at 100% with a cotton bud to a wort on the bulb head of the ulna, right side, near wrist with good results, except allergic reaction. One dab on one day, skipped a day, dab, then 3 days later dabbed once. You should never put Massoia at 100%. Allergic reaction occurred on day 4, but wort was diminished. Notice: no reaction after first drop and skipped day to third day no reaction. On 4th day after 3rd application reaction surfaced. Delayed reaction took place on day 6. Wort was diminished. Day 7: The itching stopped after taking 600mg aspirin and applying Aloe vera gel. Applied ice once a day twice and kept cool. Took cold show one day. Cold bath another day. Hot water was a no no. Applying other oils like lavender in carrier oil did not help. Actually used some snow from the snow storm and it worked a treat and rash and itching reduced. Occasional Calendula lotion or serum and Aloe vera gel worked the best. Had to keep an eye on the condition as the body went through the healing stages. So the body attacked the area where the neat oil was placed. Redness occurred after 4 days, then rash, then drying out and scabbing, then under layer skin regeneration, then top layer skin roll off. Soaking in coolish, just below body temperature tub in latest stage when scabbing is almost finished helped speed up the healing process. After scabbing is gone light massage with Calendula serum worked great. Had day and night wash daily with Kobashi shampoo. Had to make sure there was the balance where the moisture level is not to great and not too little.

Itching was increased by scratching, rubbing or heat. Depending on personal reaction, it can take 3 weeks to 3 months to be back to normal . Although aspirin seemed to reduce the inflammation it increased the circulation, thus seemed to increase itching after pain relief wore off. The cooling down with cool water and ice probably did the best soothing. If the rash happens on the feet, avoid rubbing while walking or exercising as blistering may occur, thus a longer healing time.

I believe Cortisol is needed in beginning stage to balance the system, but only for a brief time, as healing can be slowed down by cortisol. The body should produce the necessary chemicals and reactions to balance the system. This will be different with each person.

Kobashi Calendula Lotion really helped in the drying out phase.

To put in context individual response we have to look at the whole picture in environmental association.

THIS OIL MAY CAUSE AN ALLERGIC REACTION IF NOT DILUTED BEFORE PUTTING ON SKIN.

We suggest using at (1drop in 100ml) or less if you are sensitive. You may be able to use at higher dilutions, but we like to be extra cautious. If in doubt get professional advice.

Do not use on thin skin parts of the body or any orifice, mucous membrane or throat. Keep away from eyes.

Avoid use on sensitive or damaged skin; possible skin irritant and sensitizing effects. Avoid use with pregnancy, infants, and children.

Do not take internally.

*Note: 1 "As part of our search for new potential natural resources to eradicate infection, we have revealed the prominent potency of massoia bark (Massoia aromatica Becc, Lauraceae) in combating immunosuppressed-related infection.

RESULTS:Massoia bark extracts (oil and solid phase) and ML exhibited promising activities as anti-biofilm against C. albicans at IC50 0.074% v/v, 271 µg/mL and 0.026 µg/mL, respectively. The ML did not inhibit the hyphae development at the concentration tested; however, the extracts showed inhibition at 62.5 µg/mL. Macrophage phagocytosis stimulation was correlated to the ML content.

CONCLUSION:Massoia bark is potential to be developed as anti-infective in immunosuppressed condition of which the C10 ML (C10H16O2) plays a major role in exerting activity.
SUMMARY: Massoia bark extracts (oily and solid phase) and C-10 Massoia lactone exhibited promising activities as antibiofilm against Candida albicans at IC50 are 0.074 %v/v, 271 µg/mL and 0.026 µg/mL respectively. The major constituent, C-10 Massoia lactone (C10H16O2) plays major role in exerting anticandida activity and potentially acts as an immunomodulator as well. However extracts showed inhibition of hyphae development of C. albicans which showed no correlation to the content of the Massoia lactone.
